Upon receiving a bachelor’s degree in fine art from National Taiwan Normal University, I became a trainee art teacher in National Feng-Shan High School. This experience gave me a chance to organize all my knowledge and bring them to my students systematically. Meanwhile, through designing posters, flyers, guide books or other materials for the use of conferences or students' activities, I saw the importance of application art in our daily life. This understanding inspired me to pursue my graduate degree in graphic design.
At Boston University, I learned the difference between fine art and graphic design. I love both of them equally exist in my life. I love being a graphic designer, helping clients solve problems. On the other hand, I always enjoy being an artist or an illustrator, drawing and painting stuff without any certain purpose.
